Hi there my name is Hanalei!

I am the face behind the name.

I started Hanalei Baybe in February 2021 after graduating college in Dental hygiene. My life consists of working full time as a hygienist, and living and breathing sewing after-hours and on weekends.

I began my journey with sewing swimwear after struggling to find a high quality, adjustable and unique bikini that stood out from everyone else. I have been sewing since I was young, and after college I found time to fulfill a need I was personally looking for and get back to sewing more consistently.

My goal when starting this business was to make the most comfortable, flattering, adjustable, unique and fully customizable suits for everyone and anyone. 

Not everyone fits one size small or large, I wanted to offer a service where I could replicate a measurement to a size perfect for you. I wanted to provide the opportunity for anyone with  a vision of their perfect dream bikini, and work together to customize it to be their one of a kind suit.

I absolutely love swimwear, and for me this has been about working with you to make you feel most comfortable at the beach, the pool or that trip you've been planning!

I also provide pre sewn suits in a variety of colors and prints for those looking to buy a set made and ready to be shipped. I spent a lot of time sourcing out fabrics, designing these collections and sewing these bikinis!

It has been over four years now since the start of Hanalei Baybe and I couldn't thank all my followers and customers for the amazing support and all the wonderful people I have met through this journey. I cannot wait for this year and to create even more custom suits for anyone who is looking to have one made!
